The Zaneverse is a science fiction thriller universe - four novels, an in-character archive, and a community of readers who’ve decided the world is more interesting when you stop accepting the official version of it.
At its center is Marcus Zane - researcher, operative, and the man who eventually walked away from the most powerful covert organization on Earth to build something of his own.
The World
Beneath the surface of the world you recognize, the Null Horizon Authority - the NHA - operates from outposts most people will never see. They classify what cannot be explained. They contain what should not exist. They quietly intervene in events the rest of us are told were accidents, coincidences, or never happened at all.
The NHA does not announce itself. It does not exist on paper. It does not, officially, exist at all.
This is the world Marcus Zane was recruited into. It’s also the world he left.
The man behind it all
The masked researcher you’ve seen across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube is part of the world - a way of letting readers step inside it before they ever open the books. The Veil, the lab coat, the classified files: those aren’t marketing. They’re canon.
The author behind the persona is a self-published novelist building the Zaneverse one chapter, one video, and one declassified case file at a time. What started as a single novel has grown into a registered entertainment universe - Zaneverse - with four published books, an active reader community, and an expanding body of in-character content drawn directly from the source material.
The character is fictional. The work is real. Everything you see is built by a single creator, by hand, on purpose.
The Books
The Man Behind the Veil is a four-book series following Marcus from his earliest days as a recruit through every position he holds inside the Authority - strike agent, regional commander, supreme strike commander, head of research - to the choice that defines him: walking out, taking with him everything he learned, and building Leviathan-7 in the shadow of the institution that made him.
